Who Qualifies for a Marriage Green Card

Adjustment of Status vs. Consular Processing
There are two main ways to apply:
Adjustment of Status (AOS):
If you are already in the U.S., you may be able to apply for your green card without leaving.
Consular Processing:
If you are outside the U.S. (or sometimes required to process abroad), your case will go through a U.S. consulate.
